Let me introduce myself…

I’m 33 and single and have become more and more interested in the notion of becoming financially free. That may seem a little against the British ‘money is evil’ ethic. But, the more I look into the concept of money, the more it occurs to me what it can facilitate. I don’t really have a want for material things, but there is a ton load of stuff I would like to do.. for me and for others.

Also, what does it take to move yourself from being employed to being financially free? I am hugely into education, but feel that the classic ‘sit down and be taught’ in the classroom scenario is a little outdated. Good news is, if you’re reading this, you obviously have access to the most remarkable teaching tool in the world!! With the advent of Web 2.0, the Internet has exploded into becoming, in my opinion, the greatest, not just information source, but learning resource. Imagine being a kid again and being able to rewind the teacher so you could take the time to grasp what he/she was getting at in your favourite class? Well, the Internet let’s you do just that and there are some fantastic videos, and not just a few of them mind, on any and all subjects all over the Internet.

Which brings me nicely to my next point… Why not learn subjects, strategies and techniques to increase our value to others whilst increasing our personal wealth too?

I have researched many ways of creating my own income in the past. I have had 2 businesses prior to this one, my first and most successful being at the age of 21. What I found from both is that they are hard work whatever… and expensive to set up! So the researching continued…

I had heard of Network Marketing in the past but never really gave it a fair chance as an option. What came to light to me after a more clinical approach, was the massive amounts of leverage available to the business owner, plus the simplicity of its maintenance. You have no employees working for you… But you get the leverage of a possible unlimited workforce? I was starting to wonder why more people weren’t getting in to this and why I hadn’t done this research sooner!

Then I came across possibly the biggest reason and maybe why I hadn’t given it fair chance… Everyone appears to have a negative view of it, or think it is all a scam for some reason. I have heard ‘Ooh it sounds like one of those Pyramid Schemes’ all too often! Funny thing is… Not one person has been able to define to me what a Pyramid Scheme is! But apparently all Network Marketing/Multi Level Marketing programs are one… Unfortunately, in my opinion, this kind of outlook is a perfect example of how reliant people are on the opinions of others and not their own, made from research. Hell, I was one of them too once! Just to clarify, a Network Marketing/MLM program is a ligitimate sales and distribution model for a product or service. A Pyramid Scheme is purely fiscal, there is no product or service on offer therefore meaning there is no ‘exchange’ occuring. You may pay into a Pyramid Scheme but there is no guarantee of ever getting anything out of it, hence why they are illegal in many countries… Kinda sounds like a modern pension program, or ‘Bank’ sold investment product when put that way!.. But that’s another story for another day…

So, my goal is to empower us individuals into creating our own, personally tailored existences, not one defined by a Corporation or Executive Committee. We are not ‘Cogs in a Machine’ as we are led to believe. We are not in need of constant ‘Mummying’ from the state or society as a whole. We are all Infinite and Limitless individuals who have the power to create, remedy, nurture and do good for others! We all have dreams and aspirations but are constantly told that we are ‘Dreamers’ if we truly believe they will become reality.  Well, start dreaming! Have no boundaries and take action to fulfill those dreams! But you MUST take action, or you will never find out who you really are. All you will know is who you ‘think’ you are or even worse, who everybody else defines you as.
