extra leadsI would like to show you how you can generate an extra 5 leads a day from a simple little tweak in your marketing.

I wish I had thought to do this on a few other posts in the past as it appears to be working pretty well and bearing in mind it is such a simple thing to do. If you are building your own list using a system like AWeber or GetResponse you will be all over this.

The only other thing that you need is a good bit of content.. Don’t worry if you are unsure, and don’t have a good piece of ‘training’ or content to use I have 2 killer ideas for you in the video below -

Either way you should be able to get 5 extra leads a day from each :)

Back in 2000 there was a TV show that aired called ‘The Eleven O’Clock Show’. A spin off comedy show that did pretty well…

Only one problem though..

There was a skit that would show up every one to two weeks, the idiot in the picture on the left, but bugger me was he funny.

It soon came to the point where he was the sole reason that I would watch the show, and I’m pretty sure that was much the same for many other people I knew. That’s not to say that the rest of the comedy was in any way bad, it wasn’t, it was hilarious.. It was just that this guy Ali G blew everything else on TV out of the water.

Truth of the matter is, and this one is going to hurt many of you reading this… People really don’t care in general about much of what you are talking about..

… and I’m in that bracket as much as you.

I create content that is informative, teaches people how to do stuff so that they can get ahead. Which is great.. But by doing that I don’t get as much exposure due to there not being that big of an audience looking of that kinda stuff.

You’ll see what I mean if you watch this -

Here’s the link to Dave’s training – Check it out

Kinda gives you permission to enjoy yourself more and not take it so seriously ;p

SEO blogging softwareIn-Built SEO Blogging Software | Empower Network and SEOPressor - Having just arrived back from the most magical time with most of my family down south, I log into the back office of my Empower Network Blog to find a nice little present; in-built SEO blogging software in the guise of SEOPressor.

Now, you may or may not be aware of SEOPressor but put simply it is an SEO plugin for WordPress. Gone are the days of the manual checklist, now plugins can do all of the technical stuff for you.

I have never used this SEO blogging software before, so was really quite thrilled to have it installed. I love checking things out to see how they work.

All in all I reckon SEOPressor is pretty cool. I’m personally a little old school and have a checklist, but for someone who hasn’t been messing with websites very long, this SEO blogging software is something really cool. Your EN blog can play on a level playing field with the big boys now.

I made a little video to show you how the SEO blogging software works and what you can do to fix things that it flags up (the genius bit is that I completely forgot to say anything about keyword density. Simply enough it is how many times your keyword is repeated within your text, and you need it to be above a certain number, usually anything between 1 and 4 percent)

So, a big hi5 for free SEO blogging software I reckon and now there really is no excuse.

If you would like to find out more about the Empower Network I wrote a ‘warts and all’ review of it here Empower Network – 100% Commissions – Hype and Hoopla?

Or you can sign in here to see a video by one of the founders explaining his vision of what it is all about.

If I don’t speak to you before I wish you the happiest of New Years and also much luck and prosperity for 2012, and if you want to have a chat about ways to bring the second half of that about you have my details below ;p

post signatureI was just reading a post by Ray Higdon when I caught something about his post signature that I will admit I clocked on his blog a couple of days ago too.

He doesn’t use it in the same way that one would expect.

The first time I came across something similar was in a tutorial by the guy who made Automatic Article Submitter (who also apparently disappeared somewhere :/) where he suggested to format your ‘resource box’ much like the final paragraph of your article.

Now if you don’t quite know what a post signature is.. I have a whole training on a plugin for WordPress to put one on the bottom of ever post of your blog which you can update centrally. If you have a look it will explain a little about what I am on about How to add a blog signature to all of your posts.

But what I would like to do with this post is give you 3 of the cheekiest little ideas I have come across to get your reader engaged.

Post Signature Idea 1 – Make it a content continuation

I have kinda already given the game away about this one. What I suggest to do is to make the signature appear like it belongs in your article’s content, that way you can have the reader ead it without prejudging.

I don’t know about you but I generally gloss over an obvious post signature and don’t really give it the time of day, which if it belongs to you, means that I for one am not checking out, one or more of your calls to action.

Post Signature Idea 2 – Insert a call to action

Make sure there is a call to action in your signature. The aim of the game is to get people in to your funnel or at least interested about what you do/who you are a little more. If you do not tell them where to find out more about the information that they may be looking for or what you think will help them in the future, you’re not being the guy that you need to be.

This is really quite good in the fact that, as I have recently noticed in some of my earlier blog posts is that I am missing specific calls to action  within the content. By using my post signature I can change all of that in one go and have places, info and training for people to consume readily available to them at the end of the article.

Post Signature Idea 3 – Use it as you constantly updated notice board

In this way, Ray is using his post signature really well. He is leading people to the most current things that he is doing. As a post signature is a box that you can update that will change globally over your blog you should be looking to keep it as up to date as possible with any new info you have, courses, trainings, videos, webinars, you name it.

What better way to engage with your readers (especially if they have just read an older post) than to give them the up to date scoop on what you are up to.

Just always remember, we are out here to create value and help people :)
