To be honest the quotes is pretty self explanatory, but since I haven’t posted in the last little while I expected my traffic to go down (in the past without consistency it would go down real quick)

But it didn’t

… and I haven’t posted on here in 7 weeks

Yeah I know right?

Bad form, but my traffic has remained steady… In fact it has actually increased a little.

.. and the only reason I can think of to blame for such a strange phenomenon was my persistence and energy level that I have put in since this little blogs inception.

Coming back to that makes me know that I am heading in the right direction.

I have always known that I am heading in the right direction to be fair, it’s just nice to get a sweet little reminder every now and then.

I have SEO’d quite a bit of stuff on here which all adds up and I think that people forget that all good work online stays up. People will continually visit good posts from now ad infinitum.

The more you put in the more you get out

It’s true that the more that you put in the more you get out, but the failing scenario here is that you do have to be persistent and there will be times where you will wonder why you are bothering as you are not getting the results that you want. If you are anything like me you’ll prob never get the results you want as the goalposts change.

 One thing that I like to remind myself of when the chips get a little down (yes, everyone’s chips get down from time to time. Someone tells you they don’t, they’re fibbing) is that the goal that I am aiming for really is the dream.

… and it is.

Seriously, the lifestyle goals that are rapidly approaching (although sometimes I feel that they aren’t admittedly hence this mantra) are far beyond the expectations of most of the people that I know. Most people don’t believe them attainable so don’t even bother to have a little belief, do a little daydreaming, you know what I mean… Or you wouldn’t be reading down this far ;p

This posed a dilemma, although not a huge one in hindsight.

To get to class I had the usual choices of travel that any student may consider.

Unfortunatley flying wasn’t an option, although I did spend the start of the latter year as high as a kite pretty much.

I could walk, cycle, catch the bus or drive.

Bearing in mind my car was 200 miles away that was out of the question, walking took ages and at peak times the bus wasn’t really that much quicker.

I opted for the cycling route so I went to the bike shop to pick myself up a bicycle.. And because they were much more fun than anything else, I bought a BMX. I had learned a few cool tricks and was ready to learn more..

How quickly I forgot the purpose the bike was for as soon as I had walked into the shop.

I don’t know if you have tried but long(ish) distance cycling using a BMX is not such an easy task. No gears, just effort all the way.

The bike was awesome, until I used it for the purpose I had bought it for.

The next time I was back at Mum’s I picked up my must have been 20 year old racer, 3 whole Sturmey Archer gears with the knob on the handlebar. If I am not mistaken, Dad had bought it for me about 5 years earlier for £5 (That’s about $8 but back in about 1991). The thing looked awful but cycling to college was a piece of piss.

Moral of the story..

Choose your vehicle wisely in everything that you do.

If you are online to make money, make sure that the thing that you are doing will make you money with the least amount of effort.

That’s not to give you the green light to be lazy, it’s just that we want to be able to change our situations as seemlessly as possible.

They were billing them about £200,000 a year for their PPC on Google (well, I say Google but I’m not sure that that was the only place they were being advertised)

I didn’t have much information to go on but was looking at one of the keywords that they were bidding on, and it was in the £20 ball park..

That’s a lot of money for 1 click..

Now, I will admit that the service that they are performing for their customers isn’t cheap, but one would have thought that their marketing company might be a little more resourceful and creative with their dough..

Let’s say that they get an opt-in rate of 10% (which I’m not sure that it will be that high tbh, having seen some of the pages behind the ads) that means for every opt-in they will be spending £200. That’s nearly $300 a lead..

How long would your business last spending that much?

Let’s say that their sales staff are really good and close at 50%, that’s $600 per customer.

Now looking at their business model I’m guessing that they can sustain that, but I’m just hoping that their ‘agency’ is also advertising in areas that are cheaper per visit than that too.

Just a thought for you all… Get creative.

I’m guessing that getting their cost per sale down is a possibility.

Now, it was the early 90′s at the time so a stiletto was still in the imprint of the female populous’ podial psychii. It still makes me laugh, and some people might think that it is slowly coming to fruition…

Truth is.. It has always been the case.

There isn’t anything on the planet that can floor a man quicker than a woman. They definitely wear the trousers.

Anyway…

What I want to talk to you about today is a little bit of history… From a different perspective and the real truth about leading a successful life.

The last bit is the real takeaway, the first bit you’ll probably think me over cynical.

… but I’ll let you decide.

Most of the western cultures (as we know of them) have been very male dominated. Women haven’t in the past had the same rights as the men; the right to work, the right to vote etc. Very much seen as the ‘indoor homebuilder’.

Women’s rights came to the forefront in 1913, the Rockerfeller Foundation being one of the leading promoters of women’s rights and equality.

Now, I would just like to point out my view of the world before I have anyone jumping to conclusions and getting upset.

I believe that all opportunities should be available to all.

There’s just a nefarious problem that becomes apparent when we look at the evolution of society as a whole and how 1913 happens to be a really bizarre coincidental year.

Let me build up the scenario.

First off 1913 was the same year that the Federal Reserve was created, an independent and private agency that controlled the US money supply. Since its inception the value of the dollar has dropped by about 97%.

Now, what I need to do now is to point out how the Fed earns its money. It lends $’s to the Treasury whom promise to pay back that money at interest at a later date. If you didn’t know already, the Treasury Dept gets all of its money from the labour of the population via involutary taxation…

Now, one could say that since women got more recognition societally, from 1913 onwards, that it had a negative effect on the value of the dollar, but I would love to see anyone correlate the two directly.

But, you can relate the two with a little bit of extra knowledge.

So, there’s vastly more $’s available these days (have you ever noticed how now the rich people are now the billionaires and that suddenly things are being quoted in Trillions? – Increase in the money supply)

Now onto the nefarious bit. We know that the Fed lends money to the Treasury, but where does it get the money from? Long story short it creates it out of nothing (I would love to explain it further but I think it is best for you to research it if you think I am full of it)

The worst part is… That’s not the worst of it.

Let’s play the role of CEO of the Fed for a second, we create money and lend it to the US Treasury and use the future earnings (labour) of the population as collateral. It is the future taxation of the populous that is going to allow the repayment of the loan that the US Gov’t has taken out with the Fed.

The only speculative part of this story is that no-one knows who owns the Federal Reserve, but there are many fingers that point to banking families such as the Warburgs, Rothchilds and Rockerfellers amongst others.

So, as a sensible lender (someone who wants to make sure that they get their money back with the interest added too) the Fed lends money off the back of the future earnings of the US workforce right? So there is a ceiling on how much you can lend.

X amount of people in the workforce = X amount of money you can lend

Seems fair enough no?

Now, and this is where I lose you but this comes from someone else not me and I’ll prove it too.

How does the Fed increase revenues? By increasing the amount of money that it lends out right? But they can only lend out (safely) an amount that can be guaranteed by the current workforce, ie half of the population.. The men.

What if they could double the workforce?

See how convenient playing such a promenant role in the awakening of the female spirit the Rockerfeller’s part is?

Ok, then check this out -

Unfortuntely Aaron passed away in 2007 but you will know him from his work though. He directed ‘Trading Places’, amongst other films, which I am guessing that many of you know.

So there’s now twice the amount of people that can be taxed.. Plus there is also twice the workforce available, meaning that each worker can command less wages as there is more competition.

What has this got to do with my future?

Let’s look at living standards and the amount that people need to work in order to be able to bring up a family (which some people may believe to be the only purpose for existence).

It now takes 2 incomes where it only took 1, not in all cases mind but many are also subsidised. Gone are the days where women can stay at home as both parents need to work in order to pay the bills, which might be something to do with people’s money being worth a lot less and there being twice the workforce.

You see, this monetary system works in the most perverse way. The more ‘inflation’ that is occuring (the quicker the prices are rising) the more profit the banking system is making. As all new money is created off the back of a loan agreement, be it in the form of Quantitative Easing, or simply by the spending of credit on a credit card.. The more being created the more interest being added, which means the more profit for the banks.

The ‘value’ being taken out of your savings, through an involuntary action such as inflation (your $’s buy less hence the rise in prices) would, if not so well disguised, be called theft. If you bought a car and over a night a banker came and took the engine out of it you would call that theft no?

So, the more money created (loans given out) the more the banking system profits, but also the more inflation (theft) occurs from the populous.

… and there seems to be a lot of loans being given out… Especially to countries now… and in the Trillions of Euros (a Euro is worth more than a dollar btw)

What am I trying to say?

Quite simply you are being made poorer, whether you like it or not. Period.

So the take away here is the fact that everyone is soon going to need to be able to stand on their own two feet… without a job, and the sooner you get started on that mission, the better.

There will come a time where you can’t afford to live, and we are not too far off it in many cases.

If you want to get ahead you’re going to need your own true self reliance..

Now, I’m not saying that you need to grow a veggie patch (although that really is a great idea) and collect all of the rain water that falls on your house, but you do need to learn how to market what it is that you do and make sure that you have skills that are needed.

The sooner you address this the better as each year there is the headline in the paper that ‘wages fail to keep up with inflation’… But that headline is in every newspaper, every year.

How does all of this fit in with the title of this post?… Well, the more people fall off the bottom of the ever decreasing wealth line, the more dependence people will have on the State. The more dependence on the State, the less freedom that you have as an individual.

Must abide by the rules as I need my welfare check…

There’s no explaining the indifference of mankind toward himself

For those of you who have not come across Napolean Hill before I’m going to guess that you are new to the ‘self help/success’ niche.

Napolean Hill is one of the legends of the industry, the pioneer of success literature, without him I’m going to guess that you wouldn’t have any Jim Rohns or Anthony Robbinseseses (never sure if I am supposed to put an apostrophe there or not :/ )

His best known piece of literature is ‘Think and Grow Rich’, if you haven’t read it I highly recommend it. It is really one of those foundation texts for anyone looking to generate more success in whatever they do.

The guy was badass

Now I can’t take the credit for finding this old recording of his, my friend Anne Woko just posted it on her blog… So I stole it lol (sorry Anne lol)… But, I highly recommend going over to her blog and checking it out.. She’s got some great ideas and will show you some real cool stuff

Before you listen to the audio, which you may want to schedule time for as it is 63 mins long, I would just like to just pass a quick comment on the quote I wrenched out of it (it’s at around the 20 min mark)

For the most part, and this really isn’t exclusive but those of you guilty of it, and I’m guessing that most of you are, is that the last person in line for the ‘standards’ of one’s behaviour is one’s self.

In english, that means that we all have a tendency to put ourselves last in line. When it comes to doing things for ourselves we are often guilty of letting our standards slip.

It’s a really weird phenomenon. If someone is in a situation that needs fixing, we’ll all rally to their aid, as good people should do… But when we are in the same situation we attack the issue with far less gusto.

Odd..

Again this isn’t all of us, but I doubt that there is anyone who hasn’t done this at least once (more likely more tbh)

Mr Robbins will attribute it to being in the wrong ‘state’, he believes in training the subconscious to work on a higher level and achieve ‘Peak State’.

Call it what you will but I’m sure you grasp the idea. (we all need to give a shit more about ourselves and the things that we want to achieve ;p). Truth is, this can be at any level as there is always something that you don’t give as much attention to as you should.

So, how do you get people to like your page… for FREE?

I’m guessing that there are a whole load of ways.. Starting by simply asking them no?

What I would like to do though in this post is to explain how to do it in one specific way… and this can be used to not only get people to like your page on Facebook, you can use it for a plethora of things… aka get your social media gang to do things for you for FREE.

… It’s bribery, just as well hidden as possible.

… and don’t think in order to bribe someone you need something physical… Just an outcome will do.

So, if you are new to this game of internet marketing or you want to simply bolster up your page, apart from the initial time invested getting your account set up, this Empire Avenue idea is pretty cool.

Once you have set your ‘Missions’ up, just let them run… and then re-run them too if they are successful

The obvious alternative is to hit the ‘like’ exchanges, but that really can be laborious. (if you’re interested in that though you can find out more here)

I reckon getting your stock price up on EA is a better use of time, plus it gets you more general exposure,. it gets you ‘out there’, PLUS it is a good way to test yourself on being consistent. You stop dropping your effort in your Social Media presence and your stock price will more than likely reflect that.

Just got to make sure that your time is spent effectively though.

No point having a really high score on EA and be missing out on where you can generate revenue.

Which is always a threat in any business. Procrastination awareness is key.

With every essence of the modern world dedicated to speed, efficiency and automation your manual networking on Facebook probably feels like a slow march through mud.

It doesn’t have to be like that.

Now, I’m not saying that not doing it is such a good idea as there are 700m profiles or something ridiculous like that on FB, that by not networking on Facebook you are missing out on a big arena.

Once you have defined that, search for the relevant groups and join them and get the conversation going with the members.

My advice is to try and engage people with open questions (questions that can’t simply be answered yes or no) and find out what makes people tick and what they may or may not be struggling with in their business.

If there is any advice or experience that you can share with them, do so, but don’t feel like you have to advise everyone that you meet. Take the pressure off yourself and make networking on Facebook enjoyable.

If you believe that the person that you are talking to would benefit from taking a look at what you have to offer, ONLY after you have qualified them, ask them if they would like you to send them a link. It’s unlikely that everyone is going to be a the right place to entertain starting a new business, but the more rapport that you build as time goes on the more likely you will be there when the timing is right.

Now go out there and get to it! ;p

I’m guessing that you have played at least one of the Facebook app games (although most of us try to hide the fact). Farmville became very popular at one point and if you are running a business, that kinda stuff really isn’t the best use of your time.

It appeared… For quite sometime, that all I could find was a PageRank tool, which if you use Firefox there’s tons of add-ons that will check all that for you. In fact I’m going to share the one that I use and I will tell you why. I use the WebRank Toolbar because it will give you the different banklink amounts from all of the search engines (which one’s are counting which).

So, if you wanted to find out your PageRank everything was fine, but you and I both know that you really want to find out where your content sits for xyz keyword on Google… and you want to be able to check it out fast.

I have found, at last, the Google Ranking Checker that you are looking for!

I used to always use Market Samurai as my Google Ranking Checker, which although it is an ace piece of software it is still a little cumbersome if you want to check out lots of keyword placements in one go.
