Ask anyone what they think is valuable and you will get an array of answers. Same goes for Online Networkers. What area you may be focusing on in your business is probably going to be different to the guy next to you.

But here-in lies the problem when you are first starting out. You perceive yourself to not have enough knowledge to share with anyone. You look at all of the ‘heavyweights’ of the industry and shrink back into yourself at the vast knowledge that they have and wonder how you are going to compete.

Truth is, and you have probably heard it before, you are individual. What you bring to the table is unique to you. You may well be starting out, but what you are learning and how you perceive it will quite possibly resonate very well with other people.

I heard Brian Fanale say something quite interesting night before last, which expands on my point quite nicely. He wasn’t trying to sound cocky when he said it, but he’s forgotten what it is like to be new in the industry (he’s been in it for years) and with that, the new guys have an advantage over him as they are seeing the industry from the same viewpoint of many of their prospects.

Here’s what I suggest that you should be doing -

  • Increasing your value daily; whether that be through reading, watching useful videos, listening to audios. Always be learning new information about the industry and about how to succeed.
  • Implement as much of what you have learned as quickly as possible. The sooner you implement, the more that you will remember about what you have learned, obviously increasing the chance of success for the particular strategy. Plus by implementing, you will be gaining experience of the method and be writing it further into your long term memory.
  • Share the method and your experience of it; this could be my means of a video, article, blog post, perhaps an audio. By sharing, you are giving away helpful information for others in the same boat as you and will be offering them solutions with your content. This can only be a positive thing in building rapport and status within your community.
  • And last point, enjoy what you are doing. The more you enjoy what you are doing the more it will be picked up by your audience. A winner all round.

Vive la Resistance!
