I was going about my normal business yesterday when I got an email from a friend, with a link to an article in it. It really should act as a wake up call for everyone who still thinks that everything is ok and that those in charge have got you covered.

Breaking News… They haven’t

The article is from a reputable mainstream newspaper’s website, so for those who still believe that the mainstream news reports the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, this should resonate well with you ;p

Jobcentres to send poor and hungry to charity food banks

So, I was lead to believe that, because I pay tax, if I needed some support, my tax money would (sorta) be there to help me out (obviously that is indirectly, but you catch the drift).

So if you think that all is still well, especially when your local Gov’t employment agency has run out of ideas, so just thinks that sending you to charities for food cos it cannot stand up to its duties is acceptable, I for one, would recommend an alternative avenue to derive one’s security.

Please take a moment to re-read that last paragraph, because I believe it is so, so important to understand that your Gov’t does not have everything covered.

I have some solutions on this site, hit me up if you would like to know more about them. They may not be for you but please get out there and find something that will give you autonomy.

I really don’t like the doom and gloom approach to stuff, cos I really like to be positive about as much as I can be, but if this doesn’t spur you into action I don’t know what will.

As I have said before, I don’t believe that wages are going to be rising in proportion to the nearly 10% rate of inflation, so everyone needs an income that they can scale up and which is not so fixed, just to maintain the same standard of living.

… and remember, the boogeyman is gonna getcha! lol
